– or I get there eventually.
My Google reader ALWAYS shows 1000+ – that is the number of post on various blogs (an ever increasing list no matter how I cull) waiting for me to read.
Everynow and then I do spontaneous selections. This serendipping (thanks to N for this verb) often brings me great finds.
Case in point
from 30 August 2009. (Ok so that’s not too long back right?)

CREATE YOUR DEBUT (BOOK) COVER
1 – Go to “Fake Name Generator”
The name that appears is your author name. (Note from me: or play around with nationalies, aw go on get exotic)
2 – Go to “Random Word Generator”
The word listed under “Random Verb” is your title.
3 – Go to “FlickrCC”
Type your title into the search box. The first photo that contains a person is your cover.
4 – Use Photoshop, Picnik, or similar to put it all together. Be sure to crop and/or zoom in.
5 – Post it to your site along with this text.
Here is mine:
gotta love Picnik
As a writer, I love the fake name generator. Sometimes charaters arrive with names and histories and other times a ridiculous amount of time is spent trying to find a name, any name.
