Swine Flu: Australia update

As more cases of swine flu were recorded across the country, Health Minister Nicola Roxon revealed private contractor CSL would receive about $150 million to develop one of the world’s first vaccines for swine flu. 

The Government also will fork out $43 million to build its stockpile of anti-viral drugs. 

The number of confirmed swine flu cases in Australia has risen to 150, as the Federal Government orders 10 million doses of swine flu vaccine. more here
