Return to Writing.
After a 2 year break, I am about to return to my writing. Having orignally started on 11th January, I decided this would be a good date to return.
I found a great article that inspired me and showed me 9 ways to get back into the habit. It is suggested that each goal be focused on for some 2/3 weeks.
The most important habit you can form is the daily writing habit. Even if you only write a page or two in a day, that’s OK. The important thing is to do it. Eventually, you’ll get there. Some days will be good, some will be not so good. Still sit down to write. It’s important that you have one dedicated time for writing. You might do more, at other times, but make that one time be sacred. It might be first thing in the morning, right after lunch, right after work, or right before bed. Choose a time that you can do every single day, without fail. Dedicate at least 30 minutes to writing … at first. Later, you’ll need at least an hour, preferably two.

I do recall, when I first began, how I built up my word count each day or night; until I would often write several thousand words in a session. I also had to set some time aside for the research required. My writing-mode has been gradually awakening for I have noticed I have been saving relevant items in to my Google Notebook (thanks Viki)
